Who: NIWC Atlantic in collaboration with OUSD(R&E) What: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Digital Prize Challenge
The Department of War (DoW) is seeking an AI-enabled capability to rapidly synthesize multi-modal information from training exercises and events. This tool will serve as a Digital Scribe to automate the generation of After-Action Reviews (AARs).
The challenge follows a two-phase virtual approach with the following timeline:
August 21: Challenge release
September 25: Phase 1 submissions due from participants
September 28 – October 9: Evaluation of Phase 1 submissions and down-selection for Phase 2 virtual demonstrations
October 20–22: Phase 2 virtual demonstrations and winner announcements
October 26–31: Awards granted
Phase 2 winners will be awarded cash prizes as follows:
1st Place: $50,000
2nd Place: $30,000
3rd Place: $20,000
